Obama's example

Obama had an example, mentor, guide, whatever for almost two decades in Jeremiah Wright. Asked why he hadn't spoken to Obama this year Wright had this to say. “Them Jews aren’t going to let him talk to me. He’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office,” Wright said, according to Virginia’s Daily Press. What a great example. And people wonder why some of us see through Obama. The bigger question is why some can't see through him.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright discusses President Obama and Jews -- dailypress.com

Its better to hear it yourself.

Really Leo, here is the real point;

"Wright also said Obama should have sent a U.S. delegation to the World Conference on Racism held recently in Geneva, Switzerland, but that the president did not do so for fear of offending Jews and Israel.

"Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing (by) the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don't want Barack talking like that because that's anti-Israel," Wright said."

It makes you wonder...

Here's a quote by Evan Thomas of Newsweek stated on Hardball a few nights ago:

"... Reagan was all about America, and you talked about it. Obama is - we are above that now. We're not just parochial, we're not just chauvinistic, we're not just provincial. We stand for something, I mean in a way Obama's standing above the country, above above the world, he's sort of God."

The media infatuation with the boy president is starting to get a bit creepy.

Regarding the Rev. Wright business: suppose Wright knew all along that Barack Hussein Obama was just using his church for those 20 years to establish his Christian cover? Considering he is beginning to admit his muslim heritage now that he's been elected, it's not a stretch to speculate that he's always been muslim - thus his favoritism recently displayed toward them and his disrespect toward Israel.

The bad part over and above that people think this, but consider the fact that this odiot is a journalist......so much for objectiveity..

LOL, during the election when this god stuff was brought up, some libs here denied that people really thought it.... i think barry believes it himself.....

It is not that the people think he is a god. people are just starved for a true leader. He may or may not acheive greatness but he certainly has the opportunity. The fact that he took over a country in such dire times, leaves the door open for a great legacy. Only time will tell though.

Doug, please, without one single slogan, without one single party line speech, without one reference to Bush, please explain what make you think that Obama is a leader? I have seen no leadership qualitites in him. I would not follow him for any reason. His speechs are nothing but I I I I I. Too much crisis crying and fear mongering. I have never heard him say anything that lifts the human spirit and let's the people know that THEY have the power and ability to pull this country out of the problems we face. Instead, he just tells what HE wants and what force he is going to use to do it. That is not leadership, that is ruling.

Leaders can get the strong minded to follow. Rulers don't. That is what I see now. Only the weak following, lining up for the freebie train.

I want to know what you ideas on leadership qualities are, YOURS only, think you can do that?

I'm gonna start calling him Djjal. It's a Muslim term for 'false messiah'. And since he's Muslim, it fits.

I am so disapointed with you Doug, I gave you another chance to really dig deep and give us a personal view of your thoughts. Why is it that you hardly ever answer to that? Are you afraid that YOUR views will be laughed at? Is it that you have not really thought these things out? Please don't mis-understand this, I am just trying to understand you. Trying to have a intelligent give and take.

It's possible Doug is driving/sleeping so it may take a little more time for him to reply. I'm sure he'll get around to it, just a matter of when and with what.

I hope so. I want to hear what DOUG thinks, NOT what the Dumb-O-Crats say or Obama says. I would love to hear him ingage in an exercise in Critical Thinking. I realize that skill is not normally taught in schools, at least not for a really long time. That is one of the reasons that we keep ending up with such stupid un-intended results to laws and efforts by the government. They seem to be un-able to think past the end of their collective noses. I think it would be fun to give Doug a "homework" assignment. I would give him a problem/situation and then he would work out a solution. I have a really good one in mind if he wants to play. I could PROVE to Doug that the everyday man is smarter than MOST of our elected dunces and without a doubt smarter than Obama. I think Doug is holding out on us!!! :D

You could post it as a game/challenge in a locked thread and get solutions by PM. After a few days you could post all the solutions at once and everyone could compare their solutions.

Well, not sure if there's a better way but the one that comes quickly to mind is to type up the challenge in Word so it's pretty and spelled etc. and when it's perfect copy/paste it into a thread. Then use thread tools to sticky the thread and lock the thread. Save PM's with answers until the specified time. Copy/paste them all into Word so you get them together in one place. Then copy/paste them all at once into the sticky thread and unlock it. Everyone sees the answers posted and can then discuss/debate the solutions. With time/thought you may come up with a better answer.

Ok Layout what part of my above quote is a "party line"?

Lets break down what i said since you can't seem to comprehend.

It is not that the people think he is a god. people are just starved for a true leader.

I never said he was a true leader just that the country is starved for one, you will be one of the first to say that W. messed up on many issues.

He may or may not acheive greatness but he certainly has the opportunity.

Is that a party line? He has the opportunity because he inherited a a real mess.

The last sentence of my post just says that IF he corrects alot of our problems then he has an open door for a great legacy.

No, I am not interested in playing any little games with you either.

Try reading what I said and not what you want to read and you might just agree with me.

I NEVER said that Bush was a good leader, never even said that I liked him. I can say without a doubt that Obama is not a leader as well. He has shown NO leadership qualitities at all. He does show all the the qualities of one being lead.

As to inheriting problems, what's new? Name one who has not over the last 100 years or so? Big whoop. These this time are not even all that bad, it has been MUCH worse in days past.

As to not playing, your just no fun. Guess you just NOT into critical thinking, too bad, I used to love doing those kind of drills. Great brain exercise.

You know what gets tiring is hearing the inherited thing over and over.

Doug, you may not understand this but our system is setup to have the ability to fix things that get messed up. It works great if there is a balance of power, like no Dingels or Levins in office but a cycle of people. What we face right now is a hijacking of our political system by Obama, whether you think so or not, just look at what is going on around you.

Wilson and FDR were two who proceeded Obama and felt that the system was wrong just like Obama has been saying, they wanted to throw out the constitution and start with a system like England. Obama is headed that way fast, not like England in the 20's but more like Germany in the 30's. If you have time in your busy schedule, read Wilson's writings like Congressional Government (they are easy to find) and also read FDR's speeches from 36/37 and his inaugural speech of 1944.
