Here's hoping for the best. He is our President for good or ill and if it is ill, the best thing about this country is that we get another choice in four years.
Even if you don't agree with his policies it is still a proud day for all Americans when the old administration can hand off to the new administration with a firm handshake and heartfelt smiles all around.
I did not move it but it is more political than expediting. I'm sure that's why it was moved to the forum for such posts. Whichever moderator moved it probably figured it wouldn't be a problem so they didn't say something about it.
In any case, it wasn't Obama that messed up the Oath of Office, it was the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who had one job to do today, and he choked, while administering the Oath to a former Constitution Law professor. Ya gotta love the irony in that.
Turtle... getting into law school is a testimony to persistence. Not much brains required. I speak from personal experience. Obama does not impress here. He's our first affirmative action president.
Even Mark Levin said it wasn't Obama's fault. He paused when the Chief Justice misspoke, probably because Obama had the oath memorized, and it wasn't right.
Don't worry, folks. He'll have plenty of other chances to screw things up.
Yes it will, but you can bet those that have no use for him will be all over him very time he screws up, just like the bush haters did with him!! Get ready!!!! As a friend of mine said today on his radio talk show, (yes it is a conservative show) Osamaba will make for great copy..
