We have a 2006 Classic XL , with Carrier A.P.U., In-Motion Satellite and comforts of home in a '70 Condo, we are both Hazmat endorsed. We have been running 250K miles per year with Werner and are now looking hard at leasing with Panther Expedited in hopes of earning better profit per mile, while not neccessarily running as hard in hopes of life being a bit easier on both of us and our truck at least onece in a while. We want to hear the real scoop as to what we can expect on a day to day, week to week, month to month basis being leased to Panther, talked to recruiter there several times this last 7 days, we know what they offer in general and we understand there will be some layover in this game, something we have not had the luxury to enjoy running dedicated 6000 miles a week over the last 2 years. We live in our truck as we do not have a home other than relatives we visit on break and folks-in-law bungalow on their ranch in Iowa for our legal physical address. We stay out 8 weeks then take a couple weeks off wherever we choose to hang. We would seriously like to speak with current or former Panther O/O's on the phone or share email before we make this jump, we like the pay per mile rate, and hope the government loads at the higher rate could be an option for us. We appreciate you taking time to contact us!!!! ////thanks!

be prepared to sit every weekend. also, we've been idle for a week since 1/16! its slow this time a year but gimme a break. there are a lot less miles than what i drove with cr england. if your looking for more downtime this is the place. the money is good however for the miles you do get.

How slow is slow? We don't mind sitting at all, especially since we have rarely had that opportunity while running over the last
554,000 miles since December of '05 on this dedicated account at 86 cents + FSC per mile, paid pre pass plus, great BCBS Health Insurance for $172.00 month each, all permits, license, tolls paid, those will be some changes for us......If we can get an average of between close to 2500 and/or as much as4000 miles on some weeks we can make this work....it's the not knowing what to expect that has us pondering this move, but the adventurious attitude we both possess makes us want to make the leap to an expedited lease......
