In that hotbed of terrorist activity, Tampa, Florida, the FBI have arrested a man in a sting operation. He was planning attacks on targets in the Tampa area.

A 25-year-old man described as an Islamic extremist was arrested in an alleged plot to attack crowded areas in the Tampa, Fla., area with a car bomb, assault rifle and other explosives, authorities said Monday.
The U.S. Department of Justice said Sami Osmakac, a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in the former Yugoslavia, was arrested Saturday night.
Osmakac, from Pinellas County, allegedly told an undercover agent that "We all have to die, so why not die the Islamic way?'" according to a federal complaint.

Seems to me tho he was obviously planning a terrorist attack, they're calling him Islamic simply because he asked for Al Qaeda flags, and said he wanted to die 'the Islamic way'. Sounds to me more like he was a sympathizer, or else wanted the blame to go on them... just sounds 'hinky' to me...

Dale,

The more one digs into this sorta thing (via non-MSM media), the more one will find that it involves encouragement and incitement on the part of law enforcement, with them often providing the means.

They have to justify their existence somehow .... even if they have to jin up and create the "reasons" for it themselves ...

I have to agree with you there. There's not enough anti Islamic bias already  we have to drum up more. I don't agree with the Islamic faith obviously, but I'm also not dumb enough to think all of them want to kill us. (only some :p )

Seriously tho, these same media types will also be the first to call a gun owning Christian a radical militant fringe organization and sensationalize everything. it's just capitalizing on fear.

Indeed .... but then the insane, the criminal, and murderers are not limited or constrained to any single group.

Fortunately, their actual numbers are small in comparison to the remainder of the rest of the population.

Unfortunately, they cause a disproportionate amount of the mayhem and chaos given their numbers ....

Yup - that's precisely it ;)

It's their stock in trade: appeal not to intellect and reason ... but to some of the most base emotions that there are ...
