I worked for a company in binghamton NY and was told lie after lie and got sick of it and left, I was in California but made sure they got there truck back safe I even took two more loads to work my way home made them another 5500 and was sent a e-mail telling me sense me and my co-driver left them we now owe them for a full tank of gas and get no pay hell we didnt get payed anyway, has anyone had any problems with any company from that area and any ideas what can be done we drove over 18000 miles and got a total of 1000.00 they had to scrape money together for fuel this we didnt know until the last few days, Im asking for anyone that may know of anyone else they have done that too. I talked to two other drivers that said they know of them doing that to other drivers, thats why every week they are looking for drivers

I am talking about the fleet owner and the driver, not the carrier.

It used to be that you didn't need any contract but now.....

This author has posted two different threads on the same "I was wronged" topic. What's up with that? It leads me to wonder what the other side of the story is. Actually, it was three threads but one was deleted as a code of conduct violation.

I made a mistake on this forum and was told about it, the reason my first was deleted was because I listed the companies name and I was contacted by expediters on line and now no the rules as for the other side of the story please feel free to e-mail me personally and I will give to all the info you like to check me and my story out if you decide not to do this please reframe from woundering what the other side is if you are not going to check the first side ([email protected]) this site is always telling new drivers to ask for help but when they do people like you are always there trying to make them look stupid, I myself have spend days on this forum so yes I as other new driver will make mistakes sir please look back and ask yourself did you make any mistakes when you first started expediting. I will be waiting for your e-mail I have no reason in this world to make statements about someone unless Im willing to give all the info I am only tring to help someone else from getting hurt try it some time. thanks for your imput

please reframe from woundering what the other side is if you are not going to check the first side

When listening to two sides of a story, one generally listens not to one person's verision of both sides, but each person's version of how or her own side. I have read your posts and have heard a bit from the other side. Both versions leave me wondering what the full story really is; but only as an item of curiosity, not enough to care to find out. This is not my fight.

I wonder in your public thread because you are the one talking in public; not in one thread but two (your explaination of the third is reasonable). My concern is about using multiple threads in an Open Forum about a private dispute that cannot be resolved in this venue.

Regarding your desire to keep what you claim happened to you from happening to others, by publicly naming names, you received several good replies about that months ago, when you asked about it in another thread.

It seems to me that if you want to help others from making the same mistakes you say you made, the thing to do is not talk about the other side in your dispute, but to talk about the lessons you learned and what you will do different next time around.

First of all, read over your contract........you did have a written contract, right? It works for both owner and driver..........JMO, but, I think you should be talking to a lawyer, not on here............THEN write a post about your experience..............
