Who has been told by there company there not directional???

Ya me too.

Well we all know FECC is non directional, and any of the true expedite companies will be the same. When it comes to expedite freight, there is no way to determine where your next load is going. An expedite company isnt going to solicit a load as a truck load carrier will,as any company knowing you have a truck needing a load will try and play the back haul game, meaning giving that said load a cheaper rate. The companies advertizing the two way freight are useing load boards, and their backhauls are not uaually the best paying loads. There are acceptions to ever rule, but this is in general

Diane and I have been told our carrier is non-directional (loads are dispatched without regard to where they take or leave a truck driver). We were told that before we signed up and signed up not expecting directional dispatch. It is nothing to complain about. We knew it going in. If you did not figure it out before you signed up, the quality of your research is the problem, not the carrier.

All the companies out here are directional...if you'd like to go north they send you south....want east? you'll go west...
The key is in the thinking...Never never have the thought that you want to go in a particular direction and you'll go exactly where you want to go :D

We have always been told move to the area of the country you hate the most and you will never go there. I think there is a lot of truth in that statement.

You are so right Linda and Bob. Directional runs towards home is really not something a company can do. If you get offered a load going away from home you just turn it down and wait for the next one.

IRT- doesn't sound like anyone is arguing with you-just confused about what you mean, expedite has alway been non-directional ,- heck truckload freight with my first t/t company, gainey, was nondirectional we left and bounced all over the country for weeks at a time until a load took us near home. so why get po'd and quit talking?
