I have been reading alot of post about expediting and as all of you seasoned drivers say read, read, read, all the posting you can before going into expediting I'm reading and going to read more.
I read about frieght lanes, I was just wondering how is the Northeast area is for freight for a cargo van can you get enough to stay busy?
Thanks

Glad to see you're reading previous posts I know it assisted me quite a bit.

Always have seen a good number of vans around the northeast leading one to believe they are doing okay.

I was told by the first O/O I drove for that a solo driver best freight lane was a within a triangle Boston down to Atlanta then up to Chicago. Staying within that triangle will usually eliminate the need to deadhead any substantial distance.

That was sound information passed on to me.

I read the same thing,(Triangle) but what are you remembering, and reading about Cargo Vans? I do not even know if any company is taking them on right now.?

I believe there is a fleet owner in Wolfboro, NH and I believe he has Cargo Vans with Panther ???!
His names is David Devries and he has advertised in classified's for Van drivers in the past!
Maybe he can give any info on driving the New England area !
I am from Boston and often think of relocating back to the area but not sure on Expedite out there !

Anywhere in the NE should be ok except north of Albany, NY and North of Boston. Their is freight in these areas, but little in the way of van freight.
