Normal sleeping schedule as box truck driver?

I've heard that van drivers are the epitome of non-sleeping any-hour drivers.

Does this apply to box truck drivers too? It looks like availability is key for keeping brokers happy. But that doesn't mean all brokers are 24-7, right?

Is it unreasonable to expect a decent amount of sleep hours, if you prefer them, as a box truck driver? Or does it just depend on which brokers you use or which loads you prefer?

(I suppose, since you have 10 hour rests, there is more potential for sleep, but still, what's your experience?)

Emergency freight can happen at any time of the day or night. That's why sleep management is one of the most important factors in expedite. Cargo vans especially, but straight trucks as well, need to grab sleep whenever you can. Even those dealing with HoS still need to manage their sleep. Expedite is full of any-hour drivers, but the non-sleeping ones are rare, and end up quitting or they get smarter about their sleep.
