Nook Browser

I am contemplating getting the Nook for both reading and as a substitute for my old bulky laptop. I'm not sure how viable this device is for browsing. If anyone happens to have one, I'd greatly appreciate any insight you might have regarding its use for browsing.

I absolutely love my Nook, both the original and the color. When Jack got the iPad, I finally got to us the color permanently. I read books and email, play games and surf a little.
It is not the web as you are used to it on your laptop. It takes longer to load and the keyboard is small. I am not sure I could live on the road with just a Nook, no matter how much I love it.
The new Fire will not be any better.
I suggest a tiny laptop or an iPad.
Just my opinion.
