Non air brake cdl

I just got a cdl class a non air brake. Does anyone know what i am allowed to drive beside a hot shot. Cant find any answers on any new york States

A truck that does not have air brakes. Hot shot isn't any specific truck it's a type of service so not sure what you meant.

Ok..i thought a hot shot was like a one ton or like a f350 that pulled a trailer...so i can drive anything that doesnt have air brakes....

20161006_082125.jpg Yupper...cause what im doin now is hualin new horse trailer from the factory to the dealers and we haul them 2 at a time. ..so i had to get both of them endorsements

Thats the thing...its legal in most of the central and west coast states but not in any of the east coast states..so im always heading west..montana,the dakotas....just wanna be home. ..got a 10 yr old boy that i dont wanna miss out on ya know

Next question would be do ya wanna work for yourself or drive for someone? Around my area there are lot's of city trucks open and looking for drivers. And the pay is nearly the same, just not the freedom. I can only assume your neiborhood is the same?

I just want a good paycheck....i dont wanna worry about insurance, truck maintenance and :censoredsign: like that...just want to go work from 9 to 5...grant it the loss of the freedom wiil suck but as long as im doin what im suppost to it shldnt be an issue right
