And....your point is???

This was a "Misdemeanor" Crime that happened back in 2009. Case was finally settled this week, the same week when Ted happened to get into a little hot water over a "Metaphor" he was quoted as saying.

Honestly, I don't like how MSN titled the Headline. Sounds a little "In Your Face Ted" to me.

Simple mistake is all it was...Read the story...I'm bettin' Ted didn't realize that "wounding" a Bear that just happened to get away from ya also counted towards your "1" Bear Kill per season. Plus, as much as Ted Hunts and Lives Off The Land, I'm sure there's going to be a lot more minor incidences like this in his future, just as there has been in his past.

Doesn't change my opinion of him at all. He is still the #1 Patriotic True American that is not afraid to speak his mind on ANYTHING at all. He's a little Nuts and Out There at times, but I still stand behind him. At least he manned up, paid the fine, and even paid a little extra to correct his wrong doings.

Best part I like about this whole story is his little quote here concerning the words he spoke last week:

......drew the attention of the Secret Service after he rallied support last weekend for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and said of the Obama administration: "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November." His comments were made during a National Rifle Association meeting in St. Louis.

Nugent said he was just speaking figuratively and that he didn't threaten anyone's life or advocate violence.

"Metaphors needn't be explained to educated people," he said.

Again....if it wasn't for Nugent speaking his mind last week that got all the little "Girly Men" riled up, this Misdemeanor in Alaska WOULD NOT be in the news today.

His Misdemeanor in Alaska was in the news when it happened, and it was on the heels of him saying absolutely nothing at all. His California deer-baiting incident made the news, too, also on the heels of him saying nothing. Seems like Nugent can make the news whether he says anything or not.

Ted does not have a really good reputation in the neighborhood I grew up in. He kinda 'stuck it' to some former band members. He has always been a bit 'rough around the edges'. I never knew him but went to school with one of his guitar players. He would not be one that I would ever hang around with.

Seems like Ted has made the "News" again today:

msnbc.com Entertainment - Military cancels Ted Nugent show citing anti-Obama comments

So what....I bet if Ted would have his own little Concert there in Louisville somewhere that same night Ft Knox is holding their little "Concert", that hardly anybody would show up to the Concert the base is hosting. Heck....3 out of 4 responses on the Ft Knox FB has page has been against the cancellation of Teds appearence by the Military Leaders on that base. (Read the Article)

I'd like to see Ted do just this.....Honor those Soldiers by having your own Concert there in Louisville somewhere on the night of June 23rd. Donate all proceeds from the Concert to the Wounded Warriors Project, or some other similar venue.

As far as someone mentioning that Ted was in the "News" in the past with other "Hunting" mis-steps. Must not have been that "Big" of a deal. I read the "News", or news that is "Worthy" of being covered, every single day. Today is the First time I have ever heard of Ted ever having any "Hunting" citations ever issued to him.

So....again....This whole article in the OP is really a "non-issue". It's just being covered a little more now that the MSM has a Conservative Mouthpiece they can poooop in for a while. That's all.....

I dunno. Nugent's deer baiting incident was reported on Yahoo News, Fox News, Huffington Post, most media outlets, including the MSM, as far as I know. It was even discussed here on EO, which is a mainstream and underground media outlet all rolled into one.

Your right Brisco.. I should have labeled it,, POS agrees to plead guilty..
I know its an old charge I was just posting what is in the news for other hunters out here.
I was in no way referring to his political veiws..His political agendas has nothing to do with his hunting ethenics..I have seen them first hand time and time again and not on his TV shows. I hunt the properties that surround his old place in Homer Mich. I have seen his feed lots with all the game he hunts right after he opens the gate to the feed lot. I have seen the truck loads of feed being dumped 10 yrds at a time.
As even Layout stated about his employees I know several guys that worked cameras for him and seen stuff you will never see on film. This guy couldn't hunt a squirrel without being released from a cage. Most hunters knows that a cripple counts toward your limit. Lives off the land My arse..LMAO..This guy is nothing but about killing for the camera, Nothing else.

That we can agree on..Most of us up here use to watch him on friday nights @ the local gyms and commuity centers and a few local bars before he hit it big time. I am not taking anything away from his music..
As he opened a local sporting goods in the area,We felt we had another great Spokesman for the conservation clubs up here.Well that didnt pan out. Thats propely why I labeled the thread Spokeman. Poor choice of words on my part.

Oh and another correction,,I dont think his property was actually in Homer Mich.
It may actually have been in the Spring Arbor or Concord community. The more I think of it, it propely was Concord?? Homer was our gathering spot before heading out to hunt that area..Back then only the postman knew the bondaries..:DThats why we would always say lets go hunt Homer...
