It does not matter how much you know about maintaining a truck, there is always more you can learn. You will never learn it all so start with the things that fail most frequently that you can work on yourself. Your truck lamps are such a thing. If you don't know about them, learn. Learn by reading articles like Bob's and others.

I learned the value of not carrying the a fuel fliter wrench recently. Thankfully I was within walking distance of an auto parts store.

I wish people would learn how to check oil and to know if their truck is a multiplexed wiring truck or a plain old wired truck.
