Night driving.

This is just a curious question that maybe some of you may be curious about like me. We all know, or at least I know, that in my expediting years, expediting has alot of overnite runs. I probably do about 50% night driving. What do you consider is your percentage of night driving. It´s the one thing I´m not too happy about, as i like to see the scenery on the road.

I would say we are pretty close to were you are at. 50%
Some weeks are every night, and the next they are all in the day.

I'd say I drive 70 to 75% at night.

That sounds about right but I like the fact that most bad backups happen during rush hours and when I am driving at night I don't have as much traffic.

Before I owned my own trucks, night time was the only time I drove. The trucking business is really very much about night time driving. I find it odd but most of my night driving seems to happen when I go south. I do agree that is most likely 70/30 with the night time winning out. Hey I don't mind the night. Less traffic and many other truckers out there to talk to and to get help if you breakdown. My day time breakdowns have always been nightmares. I think you better get used to your trucking being very little daytime. Enjoy it! Good Luck and be safe
