Yep, know what you mean. I've been actively participating in political fora a lot less. It's rather silly to get so worked up over something you have very little control over. And I've been very silly over the years.

Talk to carriers before buying your truck. Unless you already have one. MANY carriers are not adding vans and Sprinter type trucks. They certainly don't want to add more and just thin out the work for the ones they already have on. Commendable, IMHO.

As a solo I swore I wouldn't do more than 600-700 miles a run unless it was the weekend fri pickup Monday d/o
I know my limits and will once again stick to my guns no matter what

been trying to do that as well......turned down a few to Laredo in 2013....then I was swore off Ca too.....one Friday afternoon dispatch asked me an Iowa to San Fran. had all weekend 1 skid 2,000 miles paid well more then the miles...LOL....It had been slow sooooo needless to say...I said yes.....1/2 thru I was thinking...WHY?......OMG.....besides that some Bolt guy was drooling just lurking in Cedar Rapids to take it....LOL
