Nope!
although i was bombardier with new business opportunity's in recent months ,i have decided to hold my ground for at least 2 more quarters ,and see what the economy is doing .
i feel that IF (& that's a big if) the economy will deep once more ,the ones with the most solid foundations will be able to capitalized like never before .
I do plan to welcome 2011 with this “New Year’s Day Prayer for One and All”:
Dear Lord,
So far this year I've done well.
I haven't gossiped. I haven't lost my temper. I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or overindulgent. I'm very thankful for that. But in a few minutes, Lord, I'm going to get out of bed, and from then on I'm probably going to need a lot more help.
Amen
Pretty much what a few have already said. Even talked talked about another truck near the end of summer but with hearing what fuel prices are doing and going. I doubt or am not sure if I wanna add any this year.
Smarter home time: Actually accomplishing something while there by getting off my couch..
Want to get a piece of excavating equipment,(But I doubt it,,More money will be going into fuel tanks)
Cutting d/head miles: Will be hard since I chopped allot of empty miles in 2010,Not sure I can accomplish this.
From what I am hearing more money is going towards fuel this upcoming year and not sure how its going to effect me yet.
A couple of generators properly will be my short term goal.
(Right after I get my Xbox 360 and a few games since Santa didn't leave one.)
My New Year of plans includes: Try to stay calm, if I must sit for a few days, so be it, roll with the punches. Look at each run as an adventure and learning experience.( well NY is never that much fun), and save up 3 months of running expenses so I can take off 2 months when I want to. Maybe from Nov thru Dec this year.
Just keep our truck together, pay it off, get a set of CSM leathers for the tushy Bostrom Chrome Shop Mafia Midback Seat - 4 State Trucks
Have to indulge the "neck" in me
Will be out more this year since I am fresh out of sick folk to look after.
Buy Cyn new undergarments (or thread to repair the old).
That about covers it.
I was thinking a large scarlet "H" sewn to your shirt. Then burned at the stake on a pyre stoked with diesel fuel, old log books and truck tires. We don't need people like you spreading that less miles, more money lunacy.
Grow enough by the end of the year so I can hire full time dispatchers and free up some time for more important things like administrative duties, tracking down new freight sources, and improving my golf game.
