New to Expedite

Hi All,
Hope I am am posting in the right forum. My husband and I were o/o and have our Class A license. We were living our dream until we decided to have our truck stretched out to accomadate our life on the road.
We took our truck to a company in Ok. Oct'06 and needless to say our truck is still not completed as of this day. It has been an absolute nightmare. The bank sent this company the total amount for the conversion upfront (which we did not know until after the fact).
After being off work for almost 5 mos. we were forced into bankruptcy.
Of course, there is much more to this story. But now we need to pick ourselves up and start a new life.
My question to you is, we are considering driving team for an expediter company. It would be as company drivers. We do not know much about expediting and I have been reading alot of the posts to familarize myself.
Can you tell me which companies are decent and what would be the best questions to ask recruiters.
If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Also go to the Ask the Recruiter Forum.Most of the expedite companys do not hire company drivers but there are many fleet owners that are leased to carriers and have multiplude trucks that will hire you.
