Stopped in at FL Knoxville today and picked up the new truck. As usual, Jon did a great job for me and the new truck is excellent. I'll post a unit number when I know one. See you on the road.

I think you will be quite happy with it as we are with ours. Our team really likes it. Did you get the Pro-heat?

Nice looking truck Leo. Trish has been looking at other trucks we are not happy with the 2005 M2 we have.

It's class 8, Cat C9 at 350/1100, Allison 6sp automatic, 90" Bentz sleeper, Leyman liftgate, 22' Hercules box, single 48" dinette/bunk, all in all a nice truck and comfortable.

No, keeping them all at Panther. It's easier to keep up with things that way.

Leo, I am wondering what you expect mileage-wise with the allison opposed to a manual 6 speed?

I've talked to others with this truck who get around 8-8.25 initially and about 9-9.25 after about 40k miles on the truck. I figure somewhere in that range although by eyeball it appears to be getting at least 9 already. I imagine the actual number will be lower when I fill it though.

In the 9's is very doable once it is broke in and you keep your foot out of it. Running it hard our team says it drops to 8 to 8.5

72? try a 63! Sure wish I had cut down the 24' box and put a 70" Pete on mine. But one makes choices, then you live with them...

Just curious about the tires? Are they Low Pro's, and specifically, what are the drive tires? I'm getting very interested in replacing my Bridgestone M720's with a tire that has more bite, but still fuel efficient. Impressed with a Yokohama 577 or 517 for features and price.
