We picked up a new Frigidare 4.4 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer today. It was on sale for $223.00. It will NOT get put in this trip home. We are going to have to have cabinets rebuilt to have it fit. It has a good size REAL freezer. It is going to be nice once it is all finished.

That's cheap. Is it 12 volt?

Nope, 110 volt. It is a house unit. The fancy AC/DC one I had runs between $900-1100 bucks a pop. They tend to break down often. The way I look at it is if I can get 2 years out of this one then just replace it I can do that almost 4 times and break even. My old one was 3.7 cubic foot with a little bitty almost freezer. I think I am going to do ok.

I have a norcold in my sleeper, it has a real freezer, I can fit 17 lean quizine dinners and a box of jimmy dean sausage and egg biscuits.

It was built into the sleeper by AA. It has been very reliable and we are very happy with it.

I couldn't tell you the model number though.

In case any one is interested. When my Norcold went out I ordered one off e-bay. The sellers name was wholesale-marine. They are out of Ohio. Fantastic people. I ordered on a Tuesday afternoon and it was on my door step 22 hours later. His prices were really good too even after figuring in the shipping.
