Please tell me this is a joke.

Geo doesn't run expedite as we do, but I think it's great info, because it's hard to explain just how much time is lost when running the little roads through towns, and it's much more in a truck that just about gets back up to speed before stopping again. All those 'brief' stops accumulate relentlessly, with no convincing explanation for getting further behind, and then we get tempted to speed to make up for it - at least, I do. I'm trying to quit putting my foot down [on the accelerator], but it's a hard habit to break. Even more so when dispatch seems to think we can avg 50 mph wherever we are.
Thanks, Geo!

If u set your cruise control at 62mph or at 58 mph, you will get to a destination within 15 minutes or less then the guy running 70 to 80 mph, just try it, works every time. There is no such thing as making good time. You can't make it, you can't save it. If we all could save time, then by Friday we shouldn't have to work because we have saved time and would not need Friday, Joe Biden told me so...............lmao.

@ 62 mph if full tank...I could do a 500/550 mile load without refueling. ....the speeders in my own van class would have to stop at least once....

That would depend on long the load is.
