In San Diego this morning with a few minutes on hand and hoping to be able to get this truck into the San Diego zoo later...
Last week was awesome for sightseeing ending with a trip down one of our favorite stretches of highway I-70.
I just acquired the pride of my lens collection in an "L" glass lens, I need a gradient filter for it but wanted to see what you thought of these...
CC always appreciated.
Hope all is well and you are tired from being busy.

Thanks Arlene I always look forward to your comments.
GOOD NEWS we just arrived at the San Diego Zoo and there is plenty of parking!
The lot is huge! They open at 09:00 Pacific and we cant wait to go inside (pics to follow).
If you are in the area it is real easy to get to..
From the 8 west take the 5 south, mapquest says to get off at exit 16 (ca 163N) but get off at the next exit south instead and follow the Zoo signs..

Mike, as usual, the pictures are awesome! I agree with Arlene, and add 129 to the mix too. :)

Thanks Pelicn! #129 oops I might have overdid it a little :)
All in all I shot 600 frames, blistered 5 toes and annoyed many animals.

Nice pictures Mike! Can you post some info about your camera and lenses. "L" series is Cannon, so I assume you have a Cannon camera also.

Years ago I bought an A-1 and started to acquire some FD lenses. Thought I was set for life. Never saw digital photography coming over the horizon. Ah, technology. So my A-1 sits in the closet. I have been playing around with a little Vivitar with a built in zoom. I would like to step up to a 35 slr some day when I can afford it. So I would love to hear about your setup.

Happy shooting!
