New Hoover Dam bypass bridge

Finally after 8 years and $240 million dollars the Hoover Dam bypass bridge US Hwy 93 is set to open next week making the trip between Phoenix and Las Vegas shorter and faster and trucks/commercial vehicles will no longer have detour thru Laughlin. The Hoover Dam will also be closed to thru traffic and will only be a tourist attraction. story on thetrucker.com the picture looks kinda neat

When we went across the Hoover on NYE the bridge looked almost done. Interesting looking thing, should help traffic move quicker.

wow now that it's open it will speed up the travel time to cally !

We have been lucky enough to hike around that area several times while the bridge was being built and were each time amazed at how beautiful that bridge is.

We cannot wait to see it again in its finished state.
