I would like to take the pleasure of bashing this company. I tried several times to contact this company by phone as I had questions I needed answered prior to placing an order.

Do you think they responded since I am now writing this on the Forum?

Very poor customer service when you are told by a recording to leave your name and # and not have the call(s) returned.

I will pay more at a truck stop since I can at least read what the item actually does instead of guessing and guessing wrong with shipping and restocking fees I am comming out cheaper at lets say the J.

Kraig thats a shame you had a bad experience. I have dealt with New Haven out of their Louisville facility and have always had good results.

Over the years we have bought items there but have never ordered through their catalog or internet site.
Based on Broom's experience, I would recommend an in person visit if purchasing anything from them.

Supplies can also be had at most trailer dealers and are usually pretty reasonable.
In most cases they will be alittle cheaper than the typical truck stop.

We've had nothing but excellent service from their Minneapolis store. A human being picks up the phone on the first ring. They've given excellent advice when assisting us with product selections. If they do not stock the products we seek, they'll drop ship them directly to our home. Whether they return your calls or not, the free New Haven Moving Equipment catalog continues to stand as an excellent educational resource for people wishing to learn more about freight handling equipment.

Regarding equipment prices, last time we checked, TA charged $24.95 for a ratchet strap. We purchased the exact same product for $8.00 at a trailer shop in Wisconsin.

Took your advice even before re-reading this post, so thanks anyway East Coast Trailer here in Charlotte, NC needed (wanted) two more E-track straps and one more load bar. $53.00 including tax.
