Today is a hard day for most Americans. We lost a lot 13 years ago. Our lives were forever changed. And the lives of 2,977 innocent people were extinguished that day.
But I choose to allow my thoughts of that day to focus on United Flight 93. To those Americans who, knowing full well their chances to live were dim, still summed up the courage to take those friggin' terrorists down without allowing them to hit their target. "Let's Roll" will forever be hallowed words to me.
So to the men and women on that flight, and to our country and its citizens, and most especially to the men and women in our Armed Forces (and their families)....
