Needed some advice for purchase of used Hino 268

I recently came across an opportunity to purchase a couple of used 2014 Hino 268 trucks. The only information I have is they both roughly have around 250k miles, and they are both stuck in limp mode. There seems to be def/dpf problem. The current owner is willing to provide service records and repair records. Is there any other information I should request? If I were able to purchase these for $8000 a truck, would it be worth it to fix them and run them in our fleet? Thank you in advance.

Oh I'm sorry, okay so the seller is saying the price for the trucks is $4500 and $3500 is how much it would cost to tow to my location. If that makes a difference.

That would be difficult since I live in Florida.

I would run away from the truck. It would cost to much fix it up, no matter what. if you figure labor per hour, is about $90.00 hour and up, when you get done still have a used truck
