need info on van expediting

I would like some input on how well a solo driver in a van might expect to do. I have been expediting for 2 years now in a team D unit. I would like to be able to own my own truck so i could go home when "I" wanted to, and to be honest, cant bear the thought of another co-driver. I have experience with fed-ex cc, but i'm not sure that would be the best company for a solo van. I would appreaciate any input on what company's are like out there. I will give my e-mail adress so you guys, or gals, can give me your opinions without stepping on toes of any sponcers of EO. Bill,

You can expect to gross around $40K - $65K in a cargo van. Being home often is not a problem with cargo vans.

Figures are right on the mark...About being home often,it depends on where you live.If you are in "Auto Alley"(Oh,In,Mi,Ont),you will be by the house often.If not,you will only be sucessful if you get out into the system for a while.
