Mike, not sure what exactly you wanna know about it, did you get the ff mastercard and wanna know how to use it or just opened an acct with them or what?
If you want send me a pm I will try to answer all I can I have many accts with them, but direct deposit is just that, your payroll is directly deposited in your acct, but usually takes a couple weeks to get it rolling smooth.

WW:

If your source of income is requiring you to set up a direct deposit account into which they will send your money, I suggest you open an account at your hometown bank, This should serve you well in the long run because you can go to the bank and speak person-to-person with your banker if you need to resolve any problems. You can always transfer money back and forth to and from you Flying J fuel account.

You will also have access to services in the future that may not be available at a truck stop or internet service where you can only speak to an unknown person after pressing 1 for english and working your way thru the telephonic menu.

As stated previous, what you want to do is very easy and reliable AFTER a few days growing period. Much quicker and WAY less expensive than your local bank. We have tried both ways, and will no longer make direct deposits to a local bank(not all computers speak with each other all the time) because of the constant difficulty. You are on the right track.

Yes stop at the flying J and if they have a financial services guy there he can set you up right away with an account. We got rid of our local bank 2 years ago as well and use nothing but Flying J's bank for everything. It works great and less fees that you would normally have with a regular bank and a lot easier to be able to talk to a live person 24 hrs a day 7 days a week including holidays when you have a problem with your account! You can't do that with a regular bank!

pretty well sums it up, you can also make deposits to your accts using comdata, t-check or even wire transfer money into it( with funds accessible within minuets not days)...too many good things to say about it, been with them for 5 yrs and never had a problem that couldn't be fixed over the phone ant any time 24/7/365....good luck with it mike.

Make sure you get checks sent to you to utilize. Flying J. has an excellent Account paying almost 5% intrest big bonus for me. Negative on the account take cash advances in LARGE amounts a fee for every withdrawl at THERE ATMs.

I would prefere as Terry mentioned using my local bank the OOIDA card thru Fleet One, no charges for cash advances and fuel ANYWHERE except the hook. Discount on the fuel, all one has do is keep what ever $ they use that week in a checking or savings account and they will Automaticaly take what ever used the week before out. I believe the charge is fifteen cents. YES that is CENTS.

Hook is good, Fleet One is my choice. I use both but 90% is Fleet One.

My settlements are directly deposited into my business checking account and I can transfer funds between that account and my personal checking account at will; no fees to do so.

My bank charges no fees for an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to any company that permits EFT's as a payment method.

If the company does not accept an EFT payment, my bank mails them a check; again, no fee to me; not even for the envelope and stamp.

I pay all of my company and personal bills online through my bank.

99% of my expenses (personal and business) are charged to my credit card. I usually average a $400-500 rebate every year from my rewards bonus by using my credit cards.

My credit card account also allows me to select and print, from each statement, all of the items that are business expenses for bookkeeping purposes. The credit card also has a prescription discount that allows my wife to purchase a particular medication that would normally cost $37.00, but we get it at $8.99. When traveling, by plane, train, bus or ship I am automatically covered for up to $1,000,000 of Automatic Travel Accident Insurance, at no additional cost. I also get quarterly and annual summaries broken down by spending category and amount. I also get a Personal Business Assistant service that is available 24/7. I can get help with:

Gathering business information
Obtaining referrals for marketing and administrative needs
Office management
Travel arrangements
Hotel accommodations
Dining arrangements
Entertainment
And more...

Do you mean what you said above?

When I get cash advances at the "J" it doesn't cost anything.

How big are the cash advances that you are being charged for?

But when I go to Pilot or others it cost $3 to $4 . Can't always find a "J" when ya need one so I pay.

Just checking.
