Id say the message is when not sure what direction to go in life the prayer to God for direction "revelation" kind of lock being lost and putting a address in gps

But I took this performance as horizontal worship......whereby the singer is sending a message to the audience. Vertical worship is asking for guidance in singular and private form, as with your personal request.
Would agree more toward your approach....then the rock singer.
