Was going to chime in on the "Nightmare"story but held back due to the writer slamming the door on Stoops really Quick.

I blew mine at 550K. Went to Stoops in Anderson In. They said I was lucky because they had re-built one in their own shop. We agreed on a price. Had to replace the clutch as well.
3 days and $2100.00 later I`m back on the road.

They even financed the deal for me. The syncros were gone, but thats no big deal. Double clutching works.

100K miles later still delivering the freight.

Was your a mercedes transmission?
Years ago was a different world and this was dayton oh not indiana i was quoted everything at list and book labor,guess you had better luck in the past?

Its Fuller Eaton FSO8406A. Work was done in March 2010
