[FONT=&quot]FMCSA regulations do not address a requirement for mud flaps on a commercial motor vehicle; however, many States will require mud flaps. § 392.2 may apply to mudflap use and issuance of one severity weight point could be assigned. It is FedEx Custom Critical policy that all tractors, trailers and straight trucks maintain serviceable mud flaps behind each set of tires except steer tires.[/FONT]
