I don't know if this is the right area, and I'll probably get blasted.
I would like to know a little more about members on profile, like your location, type of truck you run, time on the job if expediting, or somthing else, "like salesman" etc. Where this good info. is coming from. I don't want to jepardize any ones security.
Thank You Tom Tinker

Tom:

Some put lot's of info in their sig line and others choose not to do so. I notice you don't, perhaps for the same reason as many others. I think many folks are on-line infophobic due to all of the negative stories about invasions of privacy by on-line crooks or pleasure seekers. Perhaps you could sign your next post with the type of information that you'd to see from others; start a trend!

We have been through this before and I am sure remember why. As stated above in todays world to much info can get you in a heep of problems.
I know we all want to know who is giving or advice or who has experience but I think when using a tool like this you have to take the info or advice and decide what it means to you.

If you are interested in this info so you know more about specific individuals, I think it is best to contact the person one on one and share whatever each of you are okay with sharing.

In reality if there is advice or info shared here it, in my opinion, is nice to be able to only look at the info or advice without having knowlegde of who is sharing it. It simply removes a lot of possible prejudice. If you like what you read you can digest it and pull from it your very own take. I also think that is all it should be in most cases.

This site should only be a part of a persons information gathering it should not be used as the only part of that process. I think many of us can think of things from the past where folks have made the mistake of using this as the only source and boy oh boy can that cause problems down the road.

I understand your desire in your question but it is not a great or safe thing and by the way, people make things up. Bottom line, use the site for what it is, one of many tools people should use to gather info.
