More government programs will always lead to more fraud. What we see in this case will be peanuts compared to the fraud that will come from ObamaCare programs. I bet you dollars to frogs that even the new 'DR Registry" will lead to payoffs to some "bad" doctors by "bad" drivers who seek to avoid the system.

They had a similar sting in Memphis with independent grocery stores doing this same thing. Seems to be widespread I guess?

Graft, fraud and corruption follows government programs, as well as the government itself. It is just that way it is. Always has been, always will be.

I read a bit of a story in the Wall Street Journal [couldn't read it all, not a subscriber] about 2300 docs who billed Medicare for cardiac procedures that cost north of $500,00. Each. And the kicker is that not one of the docs was/is a cardiologist.
