Hello all. I really enjoy the site, but it seems that it takes forever to get anything posted, because it has to be reviewed by the Moderator. Is this normal? If I can not get expeditious questions answered in a timely manner (2 hours?), I'll have to find another information site elsewhere.

Take care,

Chuck

With the exception of the Recruiter Forum and the Tax forum, Moderators do not hold up any posts for review.

Your 9 Jan post in the recruiter forum may have been a little vague for any specific recruiter. It is my understanding that the Department of Motor Vehicles in your state is the place to get your answer; they are the CDL issuers and would therefore determine your eligibility for a specific license class. Once you have your CDL, the carrier which holds your interest would then likely give you their company's policy regaring experience.

Terry, as it turns out, there must have been some system burp last night, because after re-posting this morning, both posts shot through immediately.

Back to point; I was thinking that the CDL verifiable experience might not even be an issue if I obtain my own authority and insurance. What do you think? It appears you have been in the biz for some time.

Thanks,

Chuck

I agree, If you are the company with your own authority, then you can determine the experience level of your driver(s).
