I can understand, I'm having a tough time lately with my new marriage and a baby on the way and her mood swings. She thinks I love the road more than her, thinks she doesn't make me happy... it's been rough. I'd like to come off the road and do local work, but it's been tough to find what I consider a good paying local driving job. The baby is due end of July into August sometime, she's coming up on 4 months pregnant. She's not happy when I leave, She's not happy when I'm gone... but ona lighter note, she sure knows how to welcome me home.
I'm in the industry of make alot of money in a short amount of time, but like anything like that... you do work hard for that money.
The show must go on. Things will get better with time.
And, I'll be back just in time for her 7 months when I hear that pregnant women rip doors off cabinets and have so many frequent hormone changes that they throw stuff and don't even realize it. Lucky me!
I don't know how you got injured, but know that most drivers on here are just like you... off the road long enough and they do tend to miss it. There's a good many expediters that come from other lines of work, but have come to love it... for the rest of us drivers, we've simply got diesel runnin' thru our veins and have for a long time.
I can honestly say I can't imagine doing anything else other than driving for a living, and I hope you can get back out on the road soon...
