Misfortune of a driver friend...

For those who don't mind doing so, we would appreciate prayers and good thoughts for a driver friend of mine. He is a former OTR driver who now drives locally for a dump truck company. Last week he was here helping me move, today his entire home burned to the ground.

Bad part is, having recently come thru an unemployed streak, and then starting the dump truck job, he had not reinstated his homeowners insurance yet.

Thank God tho, his family all made it out, but they lost everything but the clothes on their back. Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Thanks,

Dreamer

That is terrible but being all safe is the most important part of it. Although it may be tough they can rebuild their lives together.

If you've ever witnessed a major accident right next to you and you've been spared you quickly realize just how close God is to you, or how you believe in the angels around you.

We often can't answer why something happened, but the fact that the family is OK shows they are not alone.

Especially in prayer. May they receive countless blessings and guidance. Donnas' and my prayers are with them, and with you for bringing it to our attention.

Dale,

This is sad and tragic indeed. Home is such a special place. I agree with Gibster. I'm glad to hear they are all safe and sound. We join everyone else in offering a prayer for peace and comfort.

Sorry to hear of someones misfortune.
At least they are safe, which is the most important.
Sometimes people don't know how lucky they are until something like this happens.
As with many, our prayers are with them as well.
