Just curious but I have yet to see a expediting minivan. What co.runs those?
Seems like that wouldn't be to bad to start out with as far as gas mileage and cost of van goes.Or am I missing something.

FedEx Custom Critical use to have several of these mini-vans operating mostly in the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland area. They are typically 500# cargo limits and were called A-Units. Not many around anymore. About six months ago FedEx Custom Critical only had one in operation for them. I think CTX still has some mini vans and P/U's with enclosed beds. Not very good for camping out; probably great for local work.

I have yet to see a mini-van hold up to the rigors of everyday use like we use out rides.

We had an Astro van for a while when the kids were little. It didn't get enough better mpg than the full size before it to be worth the size loss. It was a little easier to park etc. and for a family vehicle it's ok but why not go the bigger van and have lots more potential runs available.
