Million mile mark!

Not to blow my own horn, but I will cuzz I have the shorts to prove it..:p

Between my old Dodge van and this Dodge Sprinter...

One Million expedite miles...No Tickets, No Accidents..

When I think of the places I've been, the people I've met..Its been a great career...:D

Anyone else with over a million miles?

hey if you don't toot your our horn, Juju is to only other one that will!!! Congrats...18 months and 148,000 miles, 2 accident, neither my fault....so i will never hit your mark and bein a newbie all i can do is "bow" and state that " i am not worthy!" :D

In my first few years I got away with some pretty stupid decisions...plowing thru snowstorms/ice, my eyes going cross-eyed from fatique. I thought the carrier couldn't do without me...Now I am just a wimp..*LOL*

Congrats....OVM..you've got your million miles, now you have to work on your 10,000th post....LOL you could make that into Bianary code or something.....:) 350,000 miles here almost halfway there.

That is great OVM, when did you start expediting?
As for me, I started in August 2005 (great expediting time), 312,000 miles and no tickets or accidents. Will love to drive my Sprinter over the 1,000,000 miles mark.

That's awesome OVM. Just stay on your toes. The stats show that experienced drivers like yourself can sometimes get comfortable and have accidents and when those happen it's usually bad. I would hate to hear about that happening to you. I hope you have another 1,000,000 miles ticket and accident free.

Congrats OVM that's very cool and to top it off with no tickets or accidents speaks Highly. I had an accident once but my mom says I will grow out of it.:D

According to Piper...the 60's..*L*

Really I think it was the spring of 01...I had the Dodge van and was doing newspaper drops at night to carriers...distribution..But the van only worked about 6 hours a day...So the wife says I needed another job to help pay for the thing...ya know fill in the empty spots...so I answer an ad in the paper for a small local company...I had NO clue what I was getting into...and here I am!
Being in the taxi business for almost 5 years taught me valuable lessons on PM..which has paid off in spades for this gig.

Thru sheer tenacity and a strong work ethic of not giving up and a bit of good ole fashion luck.

Btw also a very supporting and loving wife who also shared the passion for hard work.

1,000,000 kilometers would only be about 621,000 miles. I'm just giving you a hard time. Again, congratulations. That's quite a feat! Has the sprinter hit the ½ million mile mark yet? Must be close.

I have a million miles but I cheated. The first 830,000 came on the road as a field sales representative for 30 years. Yup, a traveling salesman. Save the traveling salesman jokes please. There was only about 500,000 as an expediter and less than 100,000 as a regular truck driver. I won't brag about tickets or accidents because the last time I bragged about no tickets I got one the next day. Sooo...........as I see it, all you need to do to get a million miles is get old.

I did a year driving dump truck...does going to reverse count? *LOL*
