Today makes 40 years that Mrs. Layoutshooter and I have been married. I could have not picked a better partner to journey through life with.

Thanks to all. We are having a very nice weekend. Off to church in a bit. Have not decided on what to do after, the weather here is not good so we are limited to what we can do.

Well, 8 of the 40 has been in the truck. We are doing fine. Advice? For newlyweds? By the time they are married it's likely too late. MOST long term marriages are made long before the wedding.
Wish we were home, we WOULD be out on the boat. The Weather here is keeping us inside. Hot, muggy and many storms. Going down to the hot tub in a bit. Dinner this evening.
Congratulations!!! That is very cool. Tell your lovely wife congratulations for me. You are a very fortunate man but you know that better than anyone, one of the main reasons you've made this milestone I imagine. If you get near Houston let's go get some bbq or something.
