Boingo, what's that, will have to do a search now again for something else!

That's what happens when you see a sweaty Ashley Judd.

I'm not exactly sure what boingo is either as I just heard about it. All I know is that it's 10 bucks a month for unlimited service.

Awesome pic ragman, boingo is a wi-fi service that has limited access, so it's only good at locations they serve, not in my opinion a great deal, and it is a deal breaker for me, unless you like to hang out at the library or dunkin donuts! Heck Lowes parking lots have free wifi, it seems to work way better than truck stop internet packages. and FREE! FREE.......did I say FREEEEEEE!

Most of Boingo's hot spots in the US are already free hot spots that anyone can connect to. No need to pay anything to Boingo for that. Go to Boingo's Web site, Boingo Wireless Hotspot Location Map, and look at different areas to see what they have, and you'll see that you don't need Boingo for nearly all of them.

The MiFi and the Aircard are essentially the same thing, except the Aircard only works with one device (laptop) and the MiFi becomes it's own WiFi hotspot router so that you can use a laptop, phone, tablet or other WiFi enabled device at the same time. Both connect to the cell phone carrier's data network for Internet access.

I have an Aircard with Verizon, but I'm getting rid of it. My contract end-date on the Aircard just hit. It's $50 a month for 5GB of data, but I'm also grandfathered in on the unlimited data plan with my phone. So, I tether the phone to the laptop for data, unless I'm near a WiFi hot spot and I'll connect that way. The phone can also be configured as a MiFi hotspot router that can be used for multiple devices through the same connection.

Nothing wrong with dying with a smile in my face.

It'd be better than yelling and screaming like those in my grandpa's car.

So far as long as you purchase a phone on your own you can keep the unlimited with Verizon. I think upgrading a phone will push a lot of people over to the tiered plans because they won't have the money for a phone so Verizon may not even worry about the few remaining unlimited plans.

Been with AT&T since the '80's.
Had unlimited internet. Grandfathered in.
They killed my deal. Ended it. Shut off my service.

Verizon has let people keep old plans before, when I worked there people had plans that ended a decade before.

With Verizon you can upgrade get new phone on another line like your wife's even if she dosent have data plan and switch it to your line and keep unlimited data. But don't connect it to her line and get phone on Verizon's web. They don't want to do it in store.
