Michigan roads

Do other expediters have problems with their trucks "swaying" or hoods opening up while on Michigan highways? Especially around the Detroit area.

Sometimes when I am driving there the swaying is so bad it feel like I am aboard a ship. Wasn't sure if it was just my truck or a common problem.x(

I can't say that my hood ever opened, but on 94 right after you get in michigan from indy the highway is grooved real bad and it makes my rig swing like a dancer in a J.Lo video.....But overall MI. roads are in real bad shape.... well have a good one Y'all}

Most of I-94 in MI is some of the sorriest road I've been on, too. We haven't had the hood pop open YET , but the ice box has popped open many times, scattering it's contents on the floor. I don't know who sold the junk blacktop to the State, but I hope they can sleep nights.

OTOH, the newly redone S-curve on US-131 here in Grand Rapids is a supelative piece of engineering, smooth as glass, AND was done ahead of schedule.
