Airless according to the link. That should put an end to flat-tire problems. I wonder if the clear sidewalls are going to be on tire we buy, or are they just to show us what's inside the tire for marketing purposes.
EDIT: Apparently, no sidewalls at all now that I look a little closer.
Question: Is this just for cars, or are they going to make these in truck sizes too?
Is it just me or do they look like somebody did a recap straight onto a rim? I gotta go with fugly on this one!
I love the technology behind 'em and I'm sure Michelin has done ALOT of testing on the tires. I can't help but envision a car that parks in the afternoon, maybe one tire is in some water deep enough to fill through the open spaces. The water freezes overnight..now what happens? What happens driving in snow?
