True to form, she tells her supporters last night she will stay in the race then comes out this morning say's she is out. :rolleyes:

Well at least her husband will have more time to shop for "Doggie Sunglasses", seriously, wth!

All we need is the great people of Minnesota to get rid of this whack-job for good.

Michele Bachmann halts presidential campaign

US Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has suspended her White House campaign.

The Tea Party favourite made the announcement in Des Moines, Iowa, where she finished a disappointing sixth in the state's caucuses on Tuesday.

The Minnesota congresswoman's withdrawal from the field leaves six others in the presidential race.

They are vying to become the Republican nominee to challenge President Barack Obama for the White House in November.

On Wednesday morning, Mrs Bachmann, 55, cancelled a campaign trip to South Carolina.

"I have decided to stand aside," she said at a defiant news conference later.

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney won Iowa's caucuses by a wafer-thin margin over former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.

Texas Governor Rick Perry, who finished fifth, returned to his home state to consider his next step.

But in a sign that he is not about to bow out, he tweeted on Wednesday: "Here we come South Carolina!!!"

Since Baghdad Bachmann is bow-wowing out despite her masses upon growing masses of supporters, and the Doggie Sunglasses, and these Corn Doggies she's really enjoying, this looks like the last opportunity to post these gems. I had hoped for a confrontation between her and Cain, which would have made these pictures oh, so special, but alas, it was not to be. Careful? Family forum? This is a very conservative, very religious lady, eating a corn dog at the Fair. What can be more family-friendly than that?

That shutter can catch anybody off guard on an unplanned shot. I have seen a LOT of other things that would give me nightmares faster than that picture would.
