Meet Mr. Guinness
Rory Guinness, an 8th-generation descendant of perhaps the world's most famous brewer, will be in Houston on Thursday, Aug. 20, to meet beer fans and sign copies of his book on the 250-year history of the Dublin brewery.
Guinness will be in Houston because his mother is undergoing treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center, said Aliou Sow, local market manager for Guinness. On Thursday, he will tour five local bars that sell a lot of the stuff from St. James' Gate.
