For some reason, I was able to get my laptop power cord to work by using the coleman ac/dc converter, which I plugged the cigarette lighter laptop power cord into..but I need to eventually get the proper power cord for this, since the original came unplugged from the laptop, and ended up in the dog's water bowl...what luck! But, for some unknown reason, it did not burn up the power inverter...go figure..

Work is picking up, got loaded on Friday, came back to the yard, and took the freight off so I have someplace to sleep until Sunday morning,And was able to do some more work on the new van...found a box of LED marker lights in the storage unit that
I bought 5 years ago that were intended for my straight truck back then, but never made it on it, so they are getting put on this one..48 lights, to be exact..lol.. Sunday I left and headed to Ga, for the Mon am del, then less than an hour later, had a load that cancelled in record time, and then got another one an hour later, going to Alabama.Feels so darn good to be working again, but I knew deep in my heart it will all work out, which it did.It feels nice to have an unstoppable faith in a company and it's owner. That makes all the difference in the world.Went through Tuscaloosa and was deeply humbled and speechless at what I saw as far as the devastation in the area was concerned..I am hoping and praying for a good week this week, need to get caught up and get new tires asap...The "new" tires the dealer told me they put on the front are actually manufactured in the 28th week of 2000, so they are not exactly new, and are having problems...so much for honesty. But I love the new ride, and it is such a blessing to be blessed by it.So far, itonly cost me $20.00 to convert everything from my old one into this one, including putting the lights on this, the cheapest conversion yet.lol..I think I said enough for now..

The Gibralter center flea market not far from the yard has a booth that has chargers for many laptops. They are open on weekends. I got one for my dell for 39 bucks there that works fine.

Actually number 2, we are having system issues with the LA times on the local runs and the mac 19. I am ready to pull my hair out!!!! Me trying to make this **** enhancement is causing us nightmares and making us look bad and making the fleet question our integrity.

Sitting down in Laredo. We did a short 1 mile load yesterday. The company of many friends down here is great, but I am ready to get out of here

I seriously doubt that anyone is questioning your integrity. You're dealing with a computer, and as we all know, they are fine when they work properly. When they don't.....well, they don't. When my laptop crashed a couple of weeks ago, the reason I got was "It's a computer". Comforting to say the least.

Just think of the "key" incident yesterday John. Do what I did, shake your head and laugh.

Thanks Load 1 for keeping us moving again. We weregetting nervous for awhile there but knew things would get better.

Dropped our load this morning @10am unloaded by 10:30am. Went to Dollar General to restock, was going to go to the nearest truck stop when finished at the store, about 10 miles away. Got a call from Pam about 11:30 for a load while I was in the store. Pick up at the same place I dropped in the morning which, I could see the plant from where I was at.

So Piedmont, SC to Huntsville, Al by 9pm tonight.
Thank you

Oh I don't think anyone could question the integrity of Load 1 John.

You and dispatch certainly don't need nightmares and headaches because of this - it was meant to help not hinder.

We all worked ok without these enhancements before - we will again.

It is just really frustrating. We have had trucks get dispatched out of order, units "clocks" freeze, and who knows what else. It is just a pain. Especially when everyone is just trying to stay running, pay the bills and take care of their families. We will get this worked out. I wish it was all in my control, but we have to continue to work with the software programmers to get this thing resolved and 100 percent.

SWell John, the drivers of Load 1 appreciate that you are working to make our system run like a well oiled machine. To see post like these from you is nice to see, because we are assured you are working on making Load 1 as perfect as possible not only for the management but for us all. You care, and that says it all!
THANK YOU
You will get it straightened out, and your drivers will be patient and stand by you, like you do them.
We are fortunate to be working with Load 1, a family who cares about each other stays together. Through thick and thin.

#1, #2....either is good....i thought I moved up from 4 real fast....:D

Real fast was when I unloaded in Detroit last week, and did a mac 19, to find out I was # 14 in line.By the next day, #4.Now, that is some seroius dispatching, my freind!

I truly believe we have the best dispatchers here at Load One.And office people as well. They know their poop !
