Chaulk this one up to learn something new everyday...
My Sprinter wiper arm broke last winter. The sprayer has 3 spouts, none spraying where I want. Today, I tried to see if I could change the angle a little.
To my surprise, I discovered that each spout can be moved to spray where ever you want. 5 years driving this Sprinter and I just figured that out

MT, Simpsonville, KY, found a good shop in Tayler, MI, $80 shop rate. They comped us a ride to a great middle eastern resterant, while power steering pump was changed out. Got in and out of RI, Friday, bonus!
Delivered this morning to Benson, MN. So when you're in Minnesota, but not close to 29, where do you go? Minneapolis, of course! We get as far as St Cloud and decide to stop at the Pilot for a shower. Riiing!
Back to Benson. 82 miles of undoing the DH to Minne. Then back to Illannoying. Good news is, not back to Chicago

If ya don't have the stones to post the rate ... all you're doing is broadcasting that you drive for bottom feeder rates ... beyond dirt cheap!
Post the rate ... let's see if you make more on those 3,300 mi than I make on the 2,700 mi I booked earlier today. Doubtful .....

Even if a person posts a rate does it accomplish anything? Anyone can make up a number.
.85 per mi .... I took a nickel off because I rarely get these loads & it goes to a much better location ....
2 skids .... 65" tall .... 250 lbs each .... gross 500 lbs.
Yeah, I guess you're right ..... no honor amongst thieves .....
You got that out of me ... but I won't tell you what I made on my last 4,000 mi. Nobody would believe me .....
One more note ... this load came back to me from earlier in the day. They must have had something go wrong & then I was probably the only option left at the end of the day.

Don't remember if you drive for someone or book your own loads?
I don't say what I average per mile cause trust me most wouldn't believe it. But these days 90% of my loads are under 200 miles loaded so it's much easier to get better rates.
I've always priced loads under 500 mi @ $1+ ... since day one ....
I'm amazed at what some people run, what i'll refer to as "shorties", for ....
There's a bunch of $$ in those loads ....
So here's a great lesson for all in Small Business 101 & Expediting:
Expediter A: 3,300 mi load @ .70 per = $2,310
Expediter B: 2,700 mi load @ .85 per = $2,295
Which expediter made more $?
1)Expediter A ... Of course!!
2)Expediter B
3)They are both making about the same $
4)Who cares Expediter A is going to Miami
5)Does it really matter? I just like to stay busy ...
It's all .... ALL about the rate, not the miles.
