Marine Silent Drill Platoon

OOO RAH. Besides the precsion of their movements another thing that impresses me is the way they twirl those rifles. I mean if you have ever worn a Marine Corps dress blues uniform you understand what I mean. That is a very form fitting uniform and not that easy to move in. Plus quite warm since it's mostly wool with that high collar. I must say those Devil Dogs are impressive.

That is truly spectacular. I can't imagine how many scores of hours they must practice to do that. I suspect that's on top of their regular duties too so it's precious time they are giving. They deserve a sincere thank you.

Not to take away from what they are doing, but that is their actual job in the Corps. They do that, plus color guards, funerals, and that like. They are mainly used as a tool for recruitment. Of course you can't join the Marines and go straight to the Silent Drill Team. They come from the Fleet.
