After 2 weeks in Aruba came home last night to 24 degrees with snow on the ground..... that is NOT sand on the beach now!

Got a bit of a chuckle though ... I had placed myself out of service on Dec 22nd ... made a point to tell them I would be back on Feb 1st.

I had 10 voicemails, saying they had placed me out of service because I had not sent in my maintenance report for Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec, (120 day report), but I had .... I simply placed in the "This report covers ..... to ... " section December to Janurary 2nd. Even though there was services listed back into September .... Landstar is like that .... rather than say, "He meant Sept to Janurary, because we see services listed there from September ... the world crashed because I had labled the report wrong ... sigh ...

So they placed an already out of servce van, out of service .... amazing humor there! :D

Welcome back, there was a rumor that it was slow.

They did that with me too, after I sent it in, had it reviewed for the repaired from the citation and I was good to go for two runs. Then I went to get money put on the fuel card, I was told I was out of service, nice seeing I had 9000 lbs of stuff on my truck and I am getting ready to bump the dock for my first stop.
