Major endorsement for Obama

No surprise in this. He was just as stupid 4 years ago. Nothing indicates he's become any less ignorant in the last 4 years. We may yet have Oprah weigh in as well. Her racism shouted out in the last election. It may yet in this one.

Woo hoo! I won $20 bucks!

I bet that race would be brought up within 3 posts. It only took 1!

Thank you Bobwg.

Already done:

"I'm 100 percent behind our president. I actually love our president, and have the utmost respect for him and that office and what it takes to be there," Winfrey told Charlie Rose on CBS' "This Morning."

That one along with Honey Boo Boo should put him over the top!

I was spared her idiocy until now. Not surprising though. Racism at it's finest.

Whether Powell is a racist is debatable . He in fact did say part of the reason he voted for Obama in 2008 was because of his race. So he probably is voting for him for the same reason this time. It certainly can't be his record as President.

WOW! What better endorsement than one from a sleazy dud like Powel? The more 'endorsements' ANY candidate has, the less I like that candidate. When endorsed by scum, I like them even less.

I don't think backing someone you feel you have something in common with makes you a racist.

Things that make me say HUH?

I want to make up my OWN mind on a candidate. I place ZERO stock in 'celebrity' endorsements. I base my consideration solely on my personal experience and beliefs. The more a candidate is 'pushed' by news papers or celebrities the less I tend to trust them since I place no trust in celebrities or papers.

Me neither. But, NOT backing someone you have nothing in common with shouldn't be called racist either.

Endorsements hurting ones opinion of someone is no different than it helping an opinion. You are still being swayed by it.

Not that much really. First I said that I TEND to like them less. For the most part, I just ignore, not only the endorser, but the majority of candidates running. In FACT, I can honestly say that, this election, I have voted for only ONE candidate that was on the ballot. That would be my State Rep, Dale Zorn. I voted FOR him, even contributed to his campaign because he LISTENS to those who write him. He make personal phone calls to EVERYONE who writes him AND, when he answers, he REALLY answers the question or addresses the concern. NO stock gobledegook.

Even when you have absolutely nothing whatsoever in common with them politically or otherwise except for 50% race?

How would you know what all someone has in common. The private cp could be much different than the public. But no that in itself does not make a person racist.

Since Obama is a racist, only a racist would spend as much time as he does playing the 'race card', one can assume that those who support/endorse him would also be racist. After all, birds of a feather, flock together. You are who you hang with, OR, you only support what you like and agree with. Just another way to look at it.

The simple minded thinking on here never ceases to amaze me.
