lost power on sat around 1400 started genset up
and just got power back 1700 tonight
no tv or internet for 3 day rought
had problem with phone and cable
had cold beer and milk for the cookies
cookies and beer are just as good as cookies and milk

Glad to hear you're ok-glad you're not in Vermont. I live in Fl. glad we dodged that one, I'm glad whenever we get to dodge one !

Happy to hear you made it though OK.

We talked to several of our friends who seem to have made it OK as well. Those in SE PA saw only trees and branches down. My friend on MD's Eastern Shore had a little water over the road. Never lost power or phones.

Vermont and Up state New York are having big problems. Parts of I90 in New York are still closed.

Yup that was about it. Wife called me and said Newport News Deputy Lane lost power as well for about 4 days. Blew some shingles off my roof as well.

Wife fired up the Generator and brought it on line and let the Neighbors plug into it as well. Next door Neighbor pluged in to it and was happy as he had a 90 day supply of medicen that he had to keep refriguated or it would go bad. So guess the Generator I bought for a hurricane back in the day before Driving Truck, again help some one in need. Good enough.

Well since I never got a load to go by the house so I wouldn't have to DH. I am very proud of My Son Joesph for steping up to the plate and fixing my roof on the House by replacing the ridge roe of Shingles that blew off it.
