Legolas Greenleaf the Elf (Orlando Bloom) in Lord of the Rings can fire off arrows in rapid fire succession like crazy, just as fast as he could draw them from his quiver. Same with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in The Hunger Games. Grab. Whoosh. Grab. Whoosh.
("I recently read about a girl who did Katniss Everdeen cosplay (custome play). She’d had to glue the arrows to the inside of the quiver to make sure they didn't bounce out when she ran around. If that doesn't tell us that the back quiver is silly, I don’t know what does.")
These guys here with their fancy compound bows and trick shots, thanks to multiple take after take until they get one right and then are all in shock and awe and marvel at their magnificence.
But this guy, Lars Andersen, this guy puts them all to shame. He can put 11 arrows into the air before the first one hits the ground. Previous confirmed record was 7. He can shoot 10 arrows, all hitting the target, in 4.9 seconds, more than twice as fast as the next fastest archers. He can shoot 3 arrows in 0.6 seconds.
