I'd like to know who is attending this show. I know ExpressTrucking usually has their White Tiger Truck there. Any other companies going to have a booth?

Will ExpeditorsOnline have a booth?

Sure would like to meet up with some of you if you'll be there.

I'll be there all day Friday. Driving up Thusday. Driving home to Texas Saturday.

Alright, for the 3rd time let me try this. I tried to include a link to the Kentucky Truck Show-it would not work.

Truckingshow.com is the Kentucky Truck Show Web Site.

Bring comfortable sneakers/walking shoes-you may think you'll look cool in your boots, but you'll be in pain (from all the walking involved) at the end of your day there.
Bring your camera for the truck beauty championship-aka Pride & Polish competition. Don't forget extra film.
Have a camcorder? Bring it! with an extra tape & batteries ready to go.

Most importantly, you'll want to bring address labels for yourself-this will save you tons of time when you go to fill out recruiter's postcards, catalog requests forms, sweepstakes forms, & any other mailing lists you wish to be on/part of.

Have business cards? Bring plenty of them too! As trucking shows are great places/events to network with others.

Who will be there? Nearly Every Major Trucking Company, along with Panther II, Tri-State, Landstar Express, AA Sleepers, Allison Transmissions, Bentz Sleepers, Caterpillar, Cummins, Double Eagle Sleepers, ExpeditersOnline.com<whoever they are?, FedEx Custom Critical, Flying J, XM Radio, Wilson Electronics<whoever they are?, TruckFridge.com, TST Expedited Servives, The Midnight Trucking Radio Network, Thermo King, Thetford/Norcold, Sirius Satellite Radio, Shell Lubricants, RoadRanger/Eaton & Dana, Proheat, ProMiles Software, Pro-Step, Pro-tech (tool box/cab guard co.), OOIDA, National Seating, 'ol Blue USA Safety Center, Mobil Delvac, Iowa 80, JJ Keller, Indiana Custom Truck Sleepers (ICT Sleepers), Freightliner of Knoxville-Expedite Unit...There's 964 companies exibiting. There are countless companies with chrome, fenders, mudflaps, tarps, you name it-if it goes on a truck-it's there at the Kentucky show. The Kentucky Truck show is the largest truck show in the United States, and as far as I know-in North America. I've been to the Dallas show as well & it's the same thing there more or less-Except Kentucky is a larger show. Trailers, tires, Truck makers, everything for you is there-if it's not there...somebody there can get it for you. The show is not geared soley towards expediting though, but more for 18-wheelers & heavy haulers. There will be a few expediter companies there. Perhaps somebody from EO will see this post & be able to tell us exactly who in the way of expedite co.'s will & will not be there and/or where to look for expedite companies at the show.

Some of the companies not only have a booth set up with recruiters, but also sometimes a company truck that you can check out right at their booth as well. Express-1 AND Alumi-bunk ARE NOT on the list of exibitors.

The show's site has a list of exhibitor's to see who exactly will be there.

The Kentucky Truck Show is Larger than the Dallas Truck show. Noticably Larger! Enjoy, I plan on being there, just not sure exactly when right now-or in what.

Later, Bob.

And you are getting paid how much for this post?????

I'd hire you on in a New York minute as a spokesman, if I had any say. Very good post and more information than I was able to find.

I was impressed with Dallas, but let down at the lack of Expeditor info. I was expecting more. Now, it seems, I may get my wish in KY.

Thanks.

Seriously I'm looking for work Chet, if you know of an owner that needs a good driver I'm your man. About the spokesman remark...I was & still am on occassion a tour bus driver, who sometimes does narrate tours and/or talk on the mic-I tell 'em: even if you don't wanna hear me, your going to...'cause I got 27 speakers on my back dash & a little bobbin' doll on my front dash watchin' everybody I pass. Smile!

as all the post put it is right on the money also it's worlds lagest

is there a layout available of where the booths will be...seems that would be helpful in noting exactly who you want visit and where they will be. The only thing I have been able to find on the website is what they call a floor plan. It only shows the basic areas, not deatiled info. on where each exhibitor is located. I plan to be there Thurs. afternoon sometime and probably stay through sat.

thx,

Arky, when you go to Register at the show-you'll get a floorplan, the vendors should have a booth number on the show's site-maybeand/or when you get a program at the show.
Get a name tag at registration & maybe put on it "driver for hire" or just "driver" or O/O or whatever you want-that way recruiters can glance at that & know right off what your after & if they should attack you like used car salesman or not-& sometimes they will too!.
Most importantly though bring comfortable walking shoes-like I said-you may look cool in boots, but at the end of the day from walking & standing & looking at trucks & stuff your feet will be sore!

Arky, if you do a vendor search, or click to view all vendors-there's over 1,000 of them in ABC order-each vendor has a booth # & you can use that booth number to locate them on the floor plan.
